After deciding to do NaNo, I had trouble deciding what main genre to write, and I've finally settled on fantasy/sci-fi... because
- The story of an assassin, set in an alternate universe.
- A young woman wakes up with amnesia in a castle/mansion/rather large house in the middle of a mysterious forest. The master of the castle is a young man whom no one seems to know much about... not even the inhabitants of the house.
- Seventeen years old girl gets hired by vampire family to take care of their youngest son, who turns out to be a rather immature eighteen years old who has very little social contact throughout of his life. (Okay, I thought of this one when I was going through my emo/goth stage a couple years ago, and was really into macabre and vampires.)
- Girl moves from small town to a big city (Manhattan/Salt Lake City/Seattle/etc) and meets a group of people at her school who don't really seem quite human. While trying to find out more about them, her soul/spirit/heart/body gets linked to one of them (probably a guy) in order for them to monitor her. (I'm playing with the ideas of including alternate dimensions... and vampires and werewolves and other mythical creatures.)
- What makes a villain, a villain? Who were they before they were evil? What made them evil? Is redemption possible? Set in alternate universe.
- Classic rich girl meets poor boy story, with twist that she is not snooty and thinks she so much better than him, and he is not overconfident and dashing. Basically the telling of their lives growing up together, in same worlds, but different classes where neither of them seem to fit. Set in a world similar to outs, but with more magic and with differences in technology.
- Pirate who is runaway prince galavanting around the world. 'Nuff said.

I think that in every comment that I've posted tonight/this morning has had something either misspelled or some of the sentence structure is wrong.
*Faceplams* Apparently I can't write/type right now. But I'm not tired at all, so I'm going to keep writing/typing... even if what I write/type won't make any sense tomorrow.
